The Next Steps
Time really does fly by and, all too quickly it will be time for your child to move on to Primary School. That will normally be the September after his/her fourth birthday.
The transition from Pre-School to Primary School
During their final term with us children will visit Wembury Primary School on regular visits to meet their new teachers and experience school life through ‘Induction Days’.
The school will be provided with transition documentation so that they know all about each child including – likes/dislikes and strengths/challenges.
We work with the Primary School to make the transition as gentle as possible – a natural progression that the children look can look forward to!

School Admissions
The Local Authority has discontinued the distribution of UID letters, which were traditionally sent to families to invite them to apply for their child’s school place.
Instead, an online Microsoft form is now available for parents and carers to express their interest in applying for a school place.
Upon registration, you will receive automated reminders via text or email when the application window opens.
